London light n shadow session.

Starting off in Warren Street > Tottenham Court Road Oxford Street > Bond street > Piccadilly > Hyde Park > High Street Kensington. This Sunday in December was wonderfully bright and sunny high pressure weather day. So I set out to have a black and white high contrast photo session with my Olympus Pen F and the 25mm f1.8 lens
(50mm lens in old money) mono 2 profile, yellow green filter and metered / exposure compted accordingly for the desired effect.

Dark and moody alley way filled with all the usual human smells from a Saturday night out.

The Post Office Tower now know as the BT Tower. I prefer the old name.

  1. Took me back to my own wanderings when I lived there. The heavy contrast reminded me of using a polarising filter, and the alleyway shot was right up my street. Pun intended!
    Cheers mate, Pete.

    1. Thank you kindly….One day I shall visit your fair isle and sample some real Guinness and the dramatic Atlantic coast.
      Cheers.
