Chichester Cathedral

On Saturday the 9th of September we decided to pop over to Chichester for the day.It has the usual assortment of shops and cafe’s plus a grand cathedral. Here are some photos taken with the Nikon D810 and Tamron 24/70 f2.8 G2 lens.

Just a few steps from the shops is this impressive place of worship and quiet place for contemplation.
Although I’m not religious person, you cant help be impressed with the stain-glass work in theses places of worship.
Modern religious art. The iron work was exceptionally creative bold and masculine.
I like the light from the stained glass window falling onto the tomb.
